    The challenge

The context (the worst client ever): building a website for yourself is always a trap. The client (me) was extremely demanding, hypercritical and wanted perfection.

With over 25 years in content, digital marketing and advertising, the task was to show my natural evolution towards web development and AI automation without making marketing look like a closed chapter. The portfolio had to prove my skills on both fronts without turning into a catch-all site or a boring corporate CV.

    The solution

A no-nonsense approach: clean, modern infrastructure and lean code. No frills, and no endless text written for bots.

    Features developed:

    • Detailed case studies for each project
    • SEO-first architecture for organic visibility
    • Services section covering development, marketing and AI automation
    • Backend on Supabase
    • Responsive design optimised for speed

    Testimonial

"(Self-Promotion Alert!) Working with Ekaterina was incredible. She understood straight away what I wanted (as she should, we share the same brain). She wrote clean code and built a solid content strategy, without ever making me feel guilty about endless calls, because there never were any. Apart from her slight obsession with databases and Google rankings, she is a fantastic professional. 10/10, I would hire myself again without a second thought."

    Strategy

    1. Hybrid positioning

Marketing and development presented as one skill set, not as two separate trades.

    2. SEO-first architecture

Clean, indexable HTML built into the base structure, not added as an afterthought.

    3. Case studies as proof, not as a list

Challenge, solution and real results, instead of a portfolio of screenshots.

    4. Content written, not generated

Written for the reader first and the algorithm second.

    5. A custom backend

Supabase for content and data, with no dependence on third-party plugins.

    6. Speed as a business card

If I sell optimisation, the first website to optimise is my own.

    The results

    • A single portfolio covering marketing, development and AI automation without contradictions
    • Structured case studies for every direct client acquired
    • An SEO-first architecture ready from launch day
    • Zero compromise between the two sides of the job
